Boca Raton Museum School of Art

Assignment: The Boca Raton Museum of Art (BRMA) is dedicated to the education, enhanced enjoyment, and cultural enrichment of the public through its collections, exhibits, and programs. The museum and its art school celebrate cultural, artistic and intellectual diversity and reflect Boca Raton’s commitment to art and education.

Organization History: For seventy years, the Boca Raton Museum of Art has – unique among South Florida museums – operated a school of art.

The Museum and its art school create unique journeys where people make personal connections with art.

Each year, at the Mizner Park Museum, more than 100,000 visitors discover exceptional works of art, in a variety of media, from diverse cultures and across the centuries.

We manage collections of 4,400 objects and each season organize and present 8 to 10 exhibitions and 250 educational programs for a variety of audiences of all ages.

Each year, at the Museum’s School of Art, more than 5,000 children and adults discover and develop their talent through quality artistic education with more than 100 classes and workshops offered each week.

Together, the museum and its art school form an expanded creative campus with the common goal of integrating art into people’s lives by viewing and creating art.
