The Festival features John Oates of “Hall & Oates”, Moon Taxi and renowned ocean conservation experts
JACKSONVILLE, Fla., June 29, 2022 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Real Time Entertainment & Management announces the 2nd Annual Florida Fin Festival, a free 2-day festival of ocean conservation, education and music, on Saturday the 17th and Sunday September 17 September 18 at the Seawalk Pavilion in Jacksonville Beach. The event benefits Jacksonville University’s OCEARCH, a nonprofit organization dedicated to research, education, and awareness to accelerate the return to balance of the ocean.
John Oates of “Hall and Oates” and Moon Taxi will headline the musical portion of the event, with support from regional favorites Honey Hounds, The Band Be Easy (pay homage to funk), The Ries Brothers, etc.
The musical element is accompanied by a solid education village presented by ocean conservation with an immersive underwater VR experience, a mobile planetarium from the Museum of Science and History (MOSH) and touch tanks from the University of Jacksonville.

To close the event, participants can attend panel discussions on topics such as Micro-plastics Micro-fibers & Marine debris, Water quality, and marine conservancy to Blue Jay Listening Room Stage.
